Directory Update: Apr. 13th-17th
Hello and welcome back NEO Homeschoolers!! How was your week? Mine was not at all what I'd planned. Do you ever have weeks like that? You make a plan for how you want or expect the week to go and nothing happens the way you planned. Yeah, that was my week this week. I seriously felt like I spent the entire week pivoting and rearranging plans... I'm glad for Friday this week. Anyway, you all aren't here to talk about how my week didn't go to plan, so let's dive into an update on the directory!
I've been hard at work researching and collecting information on resources across NE Ohio for the directory. Since sharing the homeschool hybrid page of the directory, I've had an outpouring of feedback and several people requesting that their business or co-op be added to the directory. It's amazing to see the directory gaining such traction already, and I am incredibly grateful to everyone who has contributed. Community input is how this blog and directory is going to continue to grow and thrive, so thank you everyone!
Back to the directory though... I got another directory page up and ready for use yesterday. The homeschool co-op page is now live and ready to help connect you, NE Ohio's homeschool families, with quality homeschool co-ops. In my research to get the co-op page ready, I found a few co-ops/collaborative groups that I wanted to highlight because I was unaware these groups even existed.
- Barefoot University: With a unique approach to education, Barefoot University works to connect homeschool families with each other and the outdoors.
- Beyond Walls Collaborative: Offering a supportive community for homeschool families and families seeking an alternative approach to their children's education, Beyond Walls Collaborative seeks to foster a natural and holistic learning experience where children of all ages can thrive.
- Medina Christian Homeschool Friends: Centered in Medina, OH Medina Christian Homeschool Friends is a Bible-based group that aims to provide friendship, support, fun, and enrichment for homeschool families in Medina and surrounding communities.
Finally, this week, I created a welcome email that will go out to new subscribers. With so much new traction on this blog, I wanted to have a way to welcome new subscribers and let them know a little about what I do in this blog space. I'm also thrilled to welcome 20 new subscribers over the past week! A warm welcome to:
- Erin Turner
- Amy
- Samantha Kopy
- Sarah Duncan

Welcome new NEO Homeschoolers! I'm so glad you're here, and sincerely hope you find resources on this site that help you provide your kiddos with a memorable homeschool experience.
Before we finish out for the week, here's another...
Tiny Tidbits About Me:
I am an avid bike rider. When the weather permits, getting out for a good bike ride is one of my favorite ways to get some exercise. Riding my bike doesn't feel like exercise to me... It's enjoyable and helps me to clear my head, so I'm known for being out for an hour and a half to two hours at a time.
Well, that's it for now. I'm off to tend to a fussy baby boy, who's currently sitting in his bouncer seat next to me letting me know he's no longer content. Thanks for reading, and see you next week!! 😄
